Saturday was our neighborhood Fourth of July parade. The kids dressed up in their red-white-and-blue (Amelia was mad that she didn't get to ride a bike, too):
Seth decorated stars to put on his bike...he was very creative!
We were the caboose of the parade for a long time, but Seth biked the whole way; his mantra was "slow and steady wins the race", and he ended up passing a lot of his friends towards the end of the race.
All finishers earned a popsicle; and prizes were given to the best-decorated bikes. We did not hang around for the festivities at the pool this year, but it was fun to see most of our neighborhood buddies at the parade!
