the bad thing about good sitters...

...is that they inevitably have to move on.  We have had several sitters "outgrow" us over the years.  We are always sad to see them go, but we want them to succeed in life as well.  One took a management position at her "real job" about the time Amelia was born.  Another moved away for college last year (hey, Kim!), and we love to see her when she's home on break.  We love our current sitter, and I dread the day she has to start student teaching.  Miss Liz, one of other old sitters, invited us over today to see her first home.  The kids had a great time seeing her again and playing with her new yellow lab puppy.  What a nice way to start the holiday weekend!
